This story starts a few years ago. We first met Elan and Mara at their friend’s wedding a three years ago. They were the fun couple tearing up the dance floor! After they got engaged, we randomly ran into them in downtown Athens and they hired us for their engagement and wedding photos!

We started the wedding day off with “cheers” photos for the bridesmaids and groomsmen (the groomsmen shot is badass!). There’s nothing like setting the tone right from the start! Then Mara had an emotional first look with her dad followed by her first look with Elan. I LOVE the fact that Elan saved the “putting the tie on” photos for the first look. Apparently its a cute routine they have where Mara always ties the tie!

Between the Tishes, Havdalah, and the Ketubah signing there were so many exciting moments throughout the day! One of my favorite parts was watching Mara and Elan dancing back down the aisle. What a fun way to end the ceremony and start a marriage! Love these two love birds!
